BodyGuard

When it comes to being punctual and doing his duties perfectly, Lovely Singh is unmatchable. Taking great pride in what he does, he spares no effort in giving his everything to his profession.

Summoned for an assignment of guarding Divya, the daughter of Sartaj Rana, a business tycoon. Lovely Singh accompanies her to her campus, but ends up rubbing her the wrong way with his over-protective nature ...and paranoia about security. She finds him to be a major obstacle in leading a regular campus life. To throw him off-track and get him out of the way, she comes up with a 'master-plan'- that of trapping him in a fake love affair. 'Once he's smitten by the girl of his dreams and is reveling in his new-found romance, he will leave us alone, and we shall be free to do our own thing unhindered', says Divya to her friends.

She becomes an anonymous admirer of his and starts hounding him, expressing her 'feelings' in no uncertain terms. Lovely Singh however proves to be a tough nut to crack, and it takes quite a bit of doing from her side to penetrate his fort-like exterior. But once she succeeds in doing so, he transforms into a completely different person. Divya is triumphant and is all set to relish her regained freedom.

But things take an unexpected turn when she learns a few things about Lovely Singh. Things that she could've never even imagined! And she soon finds herself trapped in a dilemma that she's unable to resolve! And with her, soon enough, Lovely Singh finds himself ensnared in a web of lies, trickery and deceit!

Bodyguard is the story of conflict- between innocence and mischief, love and power and life and death!

Chillar Party

After ShahRukh Khan and Aamir Khan ventured into production, Salman has also joined their league. Salman’s Being Human Foundation is associated with UTV to produce Chillar Party. The star divulges, “I saw the film and I became a part of it. I attached myself to that film because it is amazing.
But unlike other commercial producers, Salman will not bag the profits from this film. He says, “If everybody goes and watches the film and the film becomes a big hit, whatever overflow we get from the film after paying tax will go to Being Human charitable trust.”
Revealing more about the plotline, Salman elaborates, “The film has just got children, their parents, one corrupt politician and a dog. It is the most beautiful film that I have ever seen. It is about how these children stand up for the stray dog and how they change their parents.” Chillar Party has also been in news because of Ranbir Kapoor’s item number in the film. Ask Salman about the new age item boy and he explains, “Ranbir has done a song. The situation is such that the kids have to raise money, and they think of taking an audition from Ranbir.”

Release Date: 2011-06-03 08:00:00
Quick Take: It’s a Salman Khan festival all the way

Here’s the thing. When it comes to a Salman Khan or a Rajnikant film, their performance is not important. It’s the audience performance that counts. And the audience delivers every time.
The movie is a remake of a Telugu movie by the same name and Salman can be seen romancing Asin for the second time onscreen in Bollywood. The movie also features stars like Aryan Babbar, Paresh Rawal and Mahesh Manjrekar in supporting roles while actors like Ajay Devgn, Kangana Ranaut, Sanjay Dutt, Arbaaz Khan and Zarine Khan can be seen doing cameos. The director as well as the producer of the movie is Bhushan Kumar.
The story is that of a happy-go-lucky guy named Prem, played by Salman, who helps lovers with their problems. He once helps Sanjana, played by Asin; escape a marriage situation, and later falls for the same girl. The plot revolves around how he tries to unite Sanjana’s family and also blend into it.
Plot Summary:
Set amidst the appealing locales of Thailand,  Ready  revolves around Prem (Salman Khan), the sole heir to a sprawling empire owned by his father and uncles. Premz father desires that he gets married and settles down, though Prem intends to enjoy his single status to the fullest. Enter Sanjana (Asin), an orphan whose greedy uncles are constantly conspiring to acquire her property. In a dramatic twist of fate, the eternal bachelor Prem falls in love with Sanjana, and is ready for marriage, owing to a case of mistaken identity. Sanjana has just returned to India to live with her feuding uncles, who have their own devious plans for her marriage, in order for each to take over her inheritance. Prem, along with his entire family, take it upon themselves to ensure that Prem and Sanjana are united. What ensues is a series of hilarious events, with everyone taking on various identities in order to fool the uncles, with Prem of course masterminding the entire charade. This June 3, are you READY for the funniest, wildest, most dhamakedaar ride ever?
